Description
This template was crafted not only to evaluate your employees, but to learn how you can better assist them in learning their role.
A “Good Business” Rule of Thumb, that I personally use in my own legal business, is to give a New Hire a 6-week evaluation period for their employment.
This allows us to have the chance to get to know them, see if they’re up for the job, let them know how they’re doing as well as what they need to work on.
A well trained employee doesn’t come from a one time training on Day 1, but repeated iterations of your standard operating procedures.
This means that you need to check in with them to see what they do and don’t understand about their role within your company.
From there, they get permanent employment, but I do these evaluations with them every 6 months so that they STAY on the right track.
